Raakamateriaali ry ja Suomen Kansallisooppera hakevat tanssijoita kevään 2025 tuotantoon Ratsumies / The Horseman

Tuotantoon valitaan seitsemän nykytanssijaa, joilla on vahva kontaktityöskentelytekniikka (esimerkiksi kontakti-improvisaatio tai partnering) sekä erinomaiset improvisaatiotaidot. Neljällä tanssijalla tulisi olla myös näyttelijäntyön osaamista ja valmiutta replikointiin. Lisäksi etsimme koreografin assistenttia, joka tarvittaessa voi myös esiintyä.

Tanssijoiden tulee sitoutua työskentelyyn harjoitus- ja esitysjaksolla 17.3.-31.5.2025. Teoksen ensi-ilta on toukokuussa 2025.

Teoksen koreografina toimii Mirva Mäkinen ja ohjaajana Jussi Nikkilä. Haku on auki 20.4.2024 klo 23.59 asti.

Hakeaksesi teokseen lähetä meille:

• kuvallinen CV (max. 2 sivua), josta ilmenee sekä tanssijantyön että näyttelijäntyön koulutus ja työkokemus.

• lyhyt kuvaus koulutuksestasi ja työhistoriastasi sekä esittely parityöskentely- ja improvisaatiotaustastasi: Pituus max ½ A4. Kirjoita tekstiin nimesi.

• linkki max 30s. videoon. Ethän lähetä videotiedostoja sähköpostiin.

Koetanssi järjestetään Suomen Kansallisoopperan tiloissa touko- tai kesäkuussa 2024. Koetanssiin kutsutaan hakemusten perusteella.

Raw Materials ry and Finnish National Opera are looking for seven dancers for the spring 2025 production Ratsumies / The Horseman. We are looking for seven contemporary dancers with strong contact skills or partnering technique and excellent improvisation skills. The four dancers should also have acting skills and readiness for replication. In addition, we are looking for a choreographer's assistant, who can also perform if necessary. Dancers must commit to working during the rehearsal and performance period from March 17 to May 31, 2025. The work premieres in May 2025.

Mirva Mäkinen is the choreographer of the piece and Jussi Nikkilä is the director. The application is open until 20 April 2024 at 23:59. To apply for the work, send us:

• CV with pictures (max. 2 pages), which shows the education and work experience of both dancer and actor.

• a short description of your education and work history, as well as an introduction to your pair work and improvisation background: Length max ½ A4. Write your name in the text.
